There are many books and booklets available about narrow track railways. However, most of them
deal with the history of former local railways transporting passengers. Dedicated literature on
field-, forest- or industrial railways is much rarer. Luckily, there are a couple of informative
books (written in German), which can be recommended warmheartedly to the interested reader:
